Last Night’s Action: Fister looks real good, Tigers win again

“Uh-oh”

Doug Fister went all nine innings for his first complete game victory as a Tiger.  He was perfect through 5 2/3 innings.  In the end he gave up 4 hits and 1 run, for a 6-1 final score and the Tiger’s third straight win.  Austin Jackson ran down some hard hit balls and Brennan Boesch took care of tricky ball hit to right field.

The Tiger’s bats finally did some damage against Ubaldo Jimenez, with Peralta and Infante driving in two runs each.

Fister has been pretty awesome lately, winning five of his last six.  Over his last five starts he’s only given up seven runs, 25 hits, and five walks, while striking out 37.  Oh yeah, and he’s gone at least seven innings in each one.  Let’s keep it going and go get them White Sox.
